Do I need to speak German to join your programs?
No, you don’t need to speak German. We provide interpreters or bilingual support in many of our workshops and activities, so language is never a barrier to getting help or joining in.
Can I bring my child with me?
Yes, in most cases you can bring your child. Many of our programs are family-friendly, and some even focus on parenting. If child care is needed, we’ll do our best to support you.
Is everything really free?
Yes, all our services are completely free for participants. Famigra is a non-profit organization funded by donations and support programs, so you don’t have to pay for anything we offer.
I’m not sure where to start — can someone help me?
Absolutely. You don’t need to know what you need — just come by or contact us. We’ll listen and guide you to the right program or support option, step by step.
I’m a single mother. Will I feel comfortable joining?
Yes. Many of the women in our programs are single mothers. Our spaces are welcoming, supportive, and designed to make you feel safe, respected, and understood.
Can I still join if I’ve been in Germany for a long time?
Yes. Whether you arrived last month or years ago, you are welcome. Our services support women and families at all stages of their journey — there’s no time limit on getting help.
